Teacher of Biology A-Level and Biology IGCSE

Required to start March 2019, to cover for a medical leave of absence.

The position
St. Lawrence College, Athens, Greece is currently seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Biology teacher to join our Biology department starting from 1st March 2019 and to last until 30th June 2019 and the end of the academic year. 

Brief Job description
The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching to pupils studying for A-Level Biology and for IGCSE Biology. He or she will work closely with, and will be supported by other colleagues, including other teachers of the science departments and the academic leadership of the school. 

Brief person specification
In addition to appropriate teaching qualifications and, ideally, experience teaching Biology in a British school either in the UK or elsewhere, the successful applicant will possess outstanding subject knowledge, familiarity with the Biology IGCSE and A-Level courses and excellent English communication skills. 

The successful applicant will receive a competitive salary by the standards of British education in Greece and will be available to work from 1st March 2019.

Teacher of Spanish to Key Stages 2, 3 and 4

The position
St. Lawrence College, Athens, Greece is currently seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Spanish teacher to join our Modern Languages department for the period from 1st March 2019 to mid-November 2019 to cover for a colleague on maternity leave

Brief Job description
The successful applicant will be responsible for the teaching of Spanish to pupils in Key Stage 2, 3 and 4, including pupils preparing to take the IGCSE examination in Year 11 of Key Stage 4. He or she will work closely with, and will be supported by other colleagues in the Modern Languages department.
