Head of Physics Department (incorporating the teaching of IGCSE and A-Level Physics)

The position

St. Lawrence College, Athens, Greece is currently seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced teacher of Physics to be our Head of Physics and to lead the department as well as teach this popular subject through to, and including at A-Level.

Brief Job description

The successful applicant will be responsible for guiding and inspiring pupils and staff in this subject area, as well as teaching Physics to Key Stages 4 & 5. He or she will coordinate all areas of the planning and delivery of Physics, including strengthening the schemes of work, creating and sourcing teaching aids, developing and implementing assessment tasks, promoting e-safety and engaging and inspiring all pupils in their knowledge of Physics.

St. Lawrence College places great importance on the excellence of the delivery of pastoral care and on the provision of extracurricular activities for all pupils. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to these vital spheres of British education fully and with enthusiasm.

The position
