Primary School Teacher of Modern Greek

As a result of ongoing growth of our school, St. Lawrence College is seeking to add to its Greek department and strengthen the teaching of Greek by employing a full-time Primary School Teacher of Modern Greek to be employed from 1st September 2018. The successful applicant will be a native speaker of Greek but will also possess excellent English language proficiency. 

Our new teacher of Modern Greek will work closely with colleagues in the school’s Greek department, following and contributing to the scheme of work and helping to develop and evaluate teaching resources and teaching strategies. The successful applicant will also take an active role in the broader life of the school in areas such as supporting pupils with pastoral care, showing an interest in helping our pupils develop strategies for effective learning, receiving and acting upon regular professional development opportunities and by contributing to extracurricular activities.

Primary Class Teacher (KS1/KS2)

St. Lawrence College is seeking to recruit enthusiastic, dynamic and committed classroom practitioners to join our talented and successful teams. 
The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate an outstanding teaching ability and an up to date knowledge of the English National Curriculum and Assessment for Learning. A willingness to work collaboratively and plan across the curriculum to meet the needs of all learners is essential, as is the desire to work closely with parents and to support school events.  Experience of teaching in a British School would be a strong advantage for applicants, who should send current CVs and a covering letter to, Junior School Headmistress, Ms Shona Good, at careers@slc.gr
