On Thursday 20^thJune, parents are invited to come and watch their children sing, recite poems and receive their end of year certificate. The day will end with a picnic where parents, pupils and staff will enjoy a sampling of traditional foods.

In April, the pupils in Key Stage 2 will be having their Inter-House Quiz Finals. Finalists from each year group in Attica, Macedonia and Epirus will represent their House in the challenge, answering a number of general knowledge questions in several rounds to win.

This term, year 2 have been out and about in Athens visiting places of interest. On Friday 4th May, they went to the Benaki Museum to experience its rich cultural history. 

On Tuesday May 29th, they went to the Vorres Museum where they learned about abstract art. The children talked about particular artists and how they create such pieces. They also considered how your feelings can sometimes dictate which colours you choose to use in a piece of  art.

Finally, the children got to create some art of their own using scraps, straws and different types of paper! What fun!

Year 7 Multi curricular visit to The Acropolis and The Acropolis Museum. The pupils will have a guided tour of The Parthenon and enjoy wonderful views whilst learning about the history of the ancient city we live in.

Year 7 will enjoy a visit to Attica Zoo at Spata as part of the Science Curriculum completing a variety of written tasks to help them better understand the mammals, reptiles and birds on show at the zoo. The pupils leave school at 9am and will return at the beginning of lunch break.
