In May, over fifty pupils from our Junior School proudly took part in the UK Mathematics Trust (UKMT) Junior Mathematical Challenge—a nationally recognised 60-minute competition comprising 25 multiple-choice questions. Designed to inspire a love of problem-solving, the Challenge promotes mathematical reasoning, precision of thought, and fluency, making it both accessible and rewarding for students at all levels.
We were especially delighted to see enthusiastic participation from pupils as young as Year 4, reflecting both their confidence and passion for mathematics. Many of our students performed exceptionally well, with several earning prestigious Bronze and Silver Certificates.
We are incredibly proud of all our participants for taking on this challenge with such enthusiasm and determination. Their achievements reflect the strength of our mathematics programme and the hard work of both students and staff.
