The Biology Communication Challenge was designed to highlight the importance of communication and creativity in Biology, encouraging pupils to develop the skills needed to explain complex scientific ideas clearly, think critically, and engage others with Science. Over the course of six weeks, Year 10 pupils worked on a creative Biology project aimed at teaching a biological concept in an engaging and accessible way. They produced a fantastic range of projects, including biology-themed board games such as a “Guess Who?” challenge for cells, creative snakes and ladders, impressive working heart models, and even an original song explaining blood flow through the heart.
The standard of work was exceptionally high, and pupils demonstrated not only excellent scientific knowledge, but also imagination, teamwork, and communication skills.
A huge congratulations to our winners: Krystal and Callista for their outstanding projects. Well done to all pupils who took part and helped bring Biology to life!
