Leading up to and following the Easter break, our school hosted a wide range of sporting events for pupils across all year groups. In the junior school, pupils from Years 1-6 took part in running events, showcasing their speed and determination. In addition, we hosted the high jump and long jump finals for pupils in Years 5-10, while Year 4 also took part in their long jump finals, demonstrating great effort and enthusiasm.
We also held our annual Family Sports Day which is an inclusive event where hundreds of junior school pupils participated alongside their parents. Together, they collected house points by completing fun obstacle courses, making it a memorable day for the whole community.
This year, several long-standing school records were broken during the athletics finals including in 150m running, shot put and long jump, and we are very proud of our pupils. More importantly, as a school community, we have continued to develop our athletic abilities through both competitive qualifiers and enjoyable events, consistently pushing our limits.
Well done to everyone who took part in these fantastic events. We now look forward to hosting our annual swimming galas for both the junior and senior schools.
