Making a Difference: Our School’s Visit to PIKPA Voulas

Entire School

On Monday, 15 December, a group of Senior School pupils proudly represented our school during a visit to PIKPA Voulas, where they delivered donations collected through our recent fundraising initiatives. Thanks to the incredible generosity and teamwork of our Junior and Senior School pupils and their families, we raised an impressive €7,110, through:

  • €3644 from whole school raffle ticket sales
  • €3466 from the Junior School Charity Ninjas fundraising events

In addition, the Senior School Services Society prepared 75 shoebox gifts, which were personally delivered to the children at PIKPA. With the funds raised, we were able to purchase essential items, including clothing, electronic devices and electrical kitchenware amongst other specified items on the wish list shared with us.  Thanks to the generosity of additional donations, we also provided air conditioning units, tablets, blankets and pillows.

Looking ahead, we still have almost €5750 remaining, which will be used to meet further needs at PIKPA after the Christmas holidays, once we receive an updated list of requirements from them. On behalf of our Charity Ninjas, Services Society, and Senior School House Captains, we extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported this worthy cause. Your generosity has made a real difference, and we can all be proud of what our school community has accomplished.

Together, we are changing lives. Thank you for helping us make an impact!
